The three Jr. Knighthawks teams will receive world-class training and compete in the USBOXLA-sanctioned Upstate Winter Shootout.

The Jr. Knighthawks teams will train with current Knighthawks defenseman Brad Gillies, former Knighthawks defenseman Mike Manley, Dallas Rattlers standout Donny Moss, and Rochester box expert Cory Holbrough.

“I am looking forward to a great winter season,” said Gillies. “Our tournament is going to have great competition, with elite teams from Canada and U.S. We have seen an improvement from our teams every season, and I see that trend continuing this winter.”

The Jr. Knighthawks will hold tryouts for its Pee Wee (5th/6th grade), Bantam (7th/8th) and Midget (9th/10th) teams on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at Tri-County Sports Complex in Macedon, N.Y. There is a $20 fee to try out for the Jr. Knighthawks. Players who participated in the Youth Box Lacrosse League (YBLL) will receive free registration. Also, if you participated in the YBLL and are unable to make the tryout date, you can still submit your application, and the league will serve as your tryout.
