The lacrosse fans have the opportunity to vote online for the Rochester Knighthawks as the top sports team in town in The Best of Rochester 2012 City Newspaper’s Readers Poll.
The Knighthawks captured the 2012 National Lacrosse League Championship on May 19th in front of a national TV audience on the CBS Sports Network. The win marked the third Champion’s Cup in the team’s 18-year history.
CLICK HERE to take the Primary Ballot, which runs online through Wednesday, August 29th. Write in your favorites in at least 40 categories, covering Sports, Food & Drink, Shopping, Local Color, Arts & Entertainment, and more.
The top four vote getters in each category will end up on the Final Ballot, which will publish in print and online on Wednesday, September 5th. The Best of Rochester 2012 issue of City Newspaper will publish on Wednesday, October 17th.
