  • (Rochester, June 6)… Shawn Williams has the Brookline Redmen out to a surprising 2-0 start in Major Series Lacrosse, which included an upset of the defending Mann Cup champion Peterborough Lakers on May 29th. Williams has led the way offensively with 20 points (6+14) in two games. He stands third in the MSL in points.   • (Rochester, June 5)… The Peterborough Lakers made it two straight wins against the Brampton Excelsiors, earning a 6-5 victory today in a rematch of last year’s Ontario Finals. The Lakers improved to 5-1 with the victory, while the Excelsiors fell to 3-2. Peterborough raced out to a 3-0 lead before Brampton responded with two straight goals.   • (Rochester, June 4)… The Peterborough Lakers edged the Ajax Pickering Rock 12-8 Friday night at the Ajax Community Centre to claim sole possession of first place in Major Series Lacrosse.
