The Rochester Knighthawks will wrap up their 2017 season tonight with a 7:05 p.m. contest in Duluth, Ga. The game is the second of a home-and-home series against the Georgia Swarm.

Scouting the Knighthawks: Rochester (6-11) mounted a late comeback Friday night, but fell 13-10 to the Georgia Swarm. The Knighthawks were powered by Joe Resetarits, who scored three goals and added four assists. Resetarits, who extended his points streak to 17 games, reached 26 goals in a season for the first time in his career. Dan Dawson chipped in one goal and two assists to become only the fourth player in NLL history to hit 800 career assists. Dylan Evans also reached a milestone by breaking Stephen Hoar’s all-time faceoff wins record of 891. Evans won 11 draws to give him 899 in his Rochester career.
Suitor and Jackson Return: Rookie Kyle Jackson returned to the lineup after missing one game and responded with two goals and three assists. Andrew Suitor was also back in the lineup and posted one assist and four loose balls. Last night was his first game back since March 25.
Rookies among NLL’s Best: Rochester has three players in the Top 10 in points among league rookies. Kyle Jackson is second with 60 points, while Josh Currier and Dan Lomas are tied for fifth with 35. Joe Resetarits leading the Way: Joe Resetarits has a career-high 60 points this season. The forward is attempting to lead his team in scoring for the first time in his five-year career.
Williams enters Hall of Fame: On Friday, the Knighthawks inducted Shawn Williams into the team’s Hall of Fame as its 16th member. “Willy” spent 10 seasons (2002 to 2011) in Rochester and was a three-time captain. He was a key member of the Knighthawks’ 2007 NLL championship team.

Scouting the Swarm: Georgia (13-4) secured home-field advantage throughout the NLL playoffs, following Friday night’s win in Rochester. Shayne Jackson finished with a team-high seven points (2+5), while Lyle Thompson (2+3), Johnny Powless (3+2) and Randy Staats (1+4) recorded five points apiece. Mike Poulin finished the night with 50 saves. Thompson leads the NLL with 113 points and is tied for the league lead with 71 goals.
